Caleb Brett: This team provides cargo inspection and analytical assessment to the world’s petroleum, mining, minerals and biofuels industries. With solutions based on years of expertise, innovation and advanced analytical capability, we help customers optimize return on cargoes and them resolve difficult technical challenges.
Intertek is looking for a Courier to be responsible for the process of transporting parcels including samples for the company and its clients and to maintain associated records, thus supporting the goal of providing a service to our clients that is accurate, timely and cost effective.
HERE'S WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE JOB
- To transport samples and other requested materials according to the transport process described in LQP/TEC_018/10.
- To maintain all appropriate records associated with the transport of samples and materials.
- To maintain records of vehicle use and maintenance and inform their departmental supervisor when service or maintenance is needed.
- To maintain their assigned area, files, supplies and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
- To perform any reasonable additional duties as may be assigned by their departmental supervisor.
- To carry out all of the above responsibilities in a supportive manner with adherence to the Company’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Management System, Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, Vision and Strategy, and to exercise good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy.
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFULR IN THIS ROLE
- High school education or equivalent, preferred.
- Must have a Valid state driver’s license with reliable driving record
- Ability to perform all the physical aspects of the job.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Organized with time management skills
- Previous experience in handling chemical and petroleum products, including Haz whopper training.is highly preferred
