What you'll do:
- Manage month-end close process and general ledger including preparing journal entries, reviewing financial results, and completing reconciliations.
- Generate regular reports on finance performance, including key metrics and trends, and support FP&A’s reporting needs.
- Supervise and build a strong accounting team to fit the needs of the growing business need.
- Develop and implement robust revenue recognition policies per industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze complex revenue transactions to ensure accurate and timely recognition.
- Manage the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for clients, addressing billing-related inquiries, and actively seeking process improvements through cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on automation.
- Develop and monitor internal controls to minimize financial risk, identify opportunities, and collaborate with external auditors during audits.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Proven, progressive accounting experience, preferably in revenue accounting or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
