THIS POSITION WILL BE ONSITE IN WASHINGTON, DC We are seeking a Data Governance Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst for our large financial services client in the DC area. You will support the business needs of an enterprise-owned metadata repository through providing standard data definitions, accurate business rules/ calculations, and complete traceability and lineage of governed data. Requirements: Hands-on data registration, data cataloging or cloud data governance experience is required Data registration experience in an AWS cloud environment is required Mortgage/banking credit risk modelling experience is required Collibra is a strong plus Comfortable performing data entry tasks Strong communication skills are required with the ability to communicate clearly across a diverse audience with varying levels of business, technical, modeling and governance expertise Familiar with cloud migrations Experience with AWS services like Athena, S3 Fundamental knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Excel 2 years experience gathering requirements and managing scope/features for business applications Ability to develop a solid working knowledge of the data, models & applications Understanding of SDLC process and deliverables/agile methodology Ability to clearly lay out objectives, deliver on commitments, and coordinate analytics with colleagues Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and counterparts across the organization Basic understanding of modeling, economics and accounting. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Previous experience/education in financial theory, credit risk, market risk, or mortgage finance is very helpful
