Intouch Med Supply is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative for immediate placement.  This position is an integral part of supporting our patients, providers and outside sales team.   At Intouch Med supply we put our patients and providers first in meeting and exceeding their expectations around care and knowledge of their supplies.
We are seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our growing team to assist clients in making the right decisions regarding their medical equipment, services and supplies. The ideal candidate loves getting to know new people and build strong relationships with clients. They also are patient and enjoy digging into the details with a client to ensure the highest level of satisfaction and empathy for every client.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifying needed equipment and supplies and instructing clients on the safe and proper use, including maintenance.
  • Receiving orders by telephone or fax and preparing all necessary paperwork to ensure timely delivery and set-up.
  • Reviewing and processing all necessary paperwork related to billing and collection.
  • Obtaining and verifying insurance coverage for all items before equipment and supplies are delivered.
  • Reviewing, preparing and maintaining all documentation to be included as part of the client file.
  • Contacting physicians, when necessary, to clarify orders received with respect to prescribed home medical equipment, services and supplies.
  • Collecting payments from clients who obtain equipment supplies with financial responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be capable of sound and mature judgment.
  • Possess excellent telephone skills and an ability to interact with clients.
  • Literate and comfortable using multiple pieces of software and adept at learning new software quickly.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with additional college preferred.
  • Minimum one-year prior office experience required.
  • Prior knowledge of the medical field, with experience in home health care preferred 
  • Prior experience in processing health insurance claims is strongly preferred.
