Responsibilities :
Able to operate various extrusion and heading equipment in the extrusion department.
Performs duties related to Material retrieval, transfer of raw materials, and finished goods.
Insures all quality standards are maintained.
Interfaces with production support systems (Oracle).
Follows Laitram and Intralox published housekeeping and safety procedures.
Performs basic machine cleaning and general maintenance.
Performs all required documentation accurately and legibly.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
Capable of operating a forklift; must become forklift certified.
Capable of troubleshooting basic mechanical and operational issues and make appropriate recommendation.
Able to work multiple extruders and headers at the same time.
Proficient computer and organizational skills.
Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description, including the ability to lift up to 52 lbs.
A self-managed individual with excellent organization and communication skills.
Able to work 12-hour shifts with the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Works well in a team environment. Able to cooperate with others while building Ideas to improve the work process.
Highly motivated.
Desired Qualifications :
Pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical experience or training a plus.
Associate Degree of Technical Training Certification.
