About the Opportunity
Our busy London office is searching for an HR Intern to support the team for a period of between 9 & 12 months.
The HR Intern will help to provide the full-suite of human resource services to the UK Introba offices, helping to maintain a productive, professional and dynamic culture in alignment with our company values: Trust, Nurture and Inspire. Throughout the internship the HR Intern will be given the opportunity to work on various projects in order for them to receive a well-rounded experience in a professional HR Environment.
Responsibilities
The HR Intern provides support to the HR Co-ordinator, HR Manager and Management team, including but not exclusively:
Recruitment:
- Manage live Job Applicants in line with Introba’s Data Protection and Privacy Policies
- Manage databases to generate reports/analytics on recruitment
- Assist with Graduate, Apprenticeship and Placement programmes and work experience opportunities for students
Employee Management
- Apply for and chase Employment References for new employees
- Prepare documentation for new employees
- Keep Organograms up to date
- Add new employees to wellbeing apps and remove leavers
- Assist with formatting and filing HR documentation and presentations
- Arrange vouchers and rewards for employees
Training & Performance Management
- Assist HR Coordinator with monitoring of internal training
- Manage employee feedback forms for external training
- Electronic Diary Management – Diarising and keeping records for performance reviews
- Run reports on outstanding training on a monthly basis
- Clear down training records for leavers
- Run external CPD programme for Introba Staff
- Attend relevant HR Webinars and feedback learning to HR Team
CSER Activities
- Support the company’s efforts to create a positive impact on local communities and the environment
- Assist with raising awareness of the company’s social responsibility commitments
- Report on social responsibility activity for the UK
- Assist the People Team and Marketing Team with progressing Social Value pledges
General
- Assists the People team with duties as required
- Contribute to the development of the company so as to enhance its reputation, such as social value, corporate social responsibility and attending appropriate events.
Qualifications
- MS Office skills (Excel/Word)
- Excellent administrative skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- An eye for detail
- Integrity, confidentiality and discretion
- Organised with good prioritisation skills and ability to balance conflicting priorities
- Ability to work independently
- Educated to A level or life equivalent
- Currently studying a relevant degree
- Ability to treat all staff consistently with respect and maintain confidentiality in employee matters
- Open to receiving constructive feedback in order to develop
- A passion for corporate social responsibility and sustainability
- Desire to work towards CIPD Membership Qualification
