We are excited to add a Junior Building Analyst to our Vancouver team.
Our Energy & Sustainability team are involved in some of the most innovative aspects of our services. Working in close collaboration with clients of all shapes and sizes, the team are responsible for providing detailed insight and analysis into building energy data. Responsibilities
The Junior Building Analyst will be performing annual building energy simulation with a variety of building energy modeling software under the mentorship of colleagues on the team.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Performing annual building energy simulation for various building types across Canada for compliance with energy code, green building rating systems, etc.
- Preparing the required reports for submission to clients, authority having jurisdiction, etc.
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field is required
- Experience with building energy codes (ASHRAE, NECB, BC Energy Step Code, Toronto Green Standard, LEED, CaGBC Zero Carbon Building Standard, Passive House, etc.) considered an asset
- Experience with building MEP systems considered an asset
- Experience in building energy modeling software (eQuest, IESVE, EnergyPlus, etc.) considered an asset
- Experience working with different computer programming tools considered an asset
