What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanctions Investigations Analyst position at Intuit?

The Sanctions Investigations Analyst will be responsible for performing OFAC/Sanctions related alert investigations and other sanctions related analysis and reviews. The Sanctions Investigations analyst will assist with OFAC/Sanctions activities and reviews to ensure Intuit’s activities meet all applicable regulatory requirements and standard industry practices.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point person for enterprise-wide sanctions escalations.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance regarding Sanctions and Global Trade regulations.
- Investigate OFAC/Sanctions inquiries and potential hits to provide recommendations on actions.
- Identify regulatory OFAC/Sanctions compliance issues/concerns and make suggestions and/or take corrective actions to implement solutions to improve controls/operations.
- Create and update procedures, processes, and requirements documentation.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure process alignment and adherence to approved operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience with LexisNexis Bridger or similar sanctions screening software is required.
- A good understanding of relevant sanctions laws, risks, and processes including having the ability to analyze the sanctions regulations for determining permissible transactions and business activity
- Previous experience drafting training documents, writing procedures, and compiling management information documents
- Ability to review large sets of data and documents efficiently and provide clear outcomes.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively to a wide spectrum of external and internal audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to simultaneously drive multiple complex initiatives to completion.
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.
- Outstanding judgment and analytical skills, including the ability to be proactive (e.g., predictive of issues before they occur) as well as reactive.
- Strong computer knowledge, including excellent MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
Salary : $64,500 - $81,600
