Overview
The role of Web Content Producer will help bring web experiences and testing to life. As a Web Content Producer, you will work collaboratively with marketing partners, product managers, engineers, and creative teams to deliver strong results for our business in a fast-paced environment. Leverage content authoring tools to create and manage the web content production work necessary for marketing websites. Design, develop, and maintain Intuit websites using content management systems, using front end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as server-side languages or frameworks. Review web product requirements and web architecture to understand and implement web projects and test website functionality for validity. Perform bug fixes by analyzing discrepancies that are found. Deploy automated testing. Develop code for review by senior level engineers and produce production-ready web pages and testing. Contribute to the improvement of front-end web product development methods and tools. Identify and problem-solve roadblocks to successful task completion, including liaising with the technical product and development team. Work collaboratively with marketing partners, web product managers, and creative teams. Support the execution of quality control activities, such as the manual validation of content and A/B test setup and running and using automation scripts.
What you'll bring
- 5 years of experience in front end web development, content management, web operations, and execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required or equivalent work experience.
- Experience developing and managing web pages using front end languages or frameworks including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Jquery and React.
- Experience developing pages in accordance with project specifications and software quality control procedures in an Agile or SCRUM environment.
- Experience interacting with stakeholders and design teams to manage components using built web pages.
- Performing validation of web pages created, monitoring pages, and investigating logs for pages and alerts using Splunk and New Relic.
- Experience setting up A/B tests for multiple variants and ensuring traffic split between variant pages.
- Experience coordinating with QA for testing, production releases, application deployment, and integration. Debugging previously written code.
- Experience monitoring, searching, analyzing, and visualizing machine-generated data in real time using Splunk; and, capturing, indexing, and correlating real time data in a searchable container and producing graphs, alerts, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments such as engineering, marketing strategy and UX teams
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

How you will lead
- Collaborate closely with Marketing Managers, Product Managers, and the creative team to identify and execute the delivery of production requirements
- Responsible for the creation and management of the content production work necessary for our marketing Websites.
- Cultivate and build relationships with internal partners and engineering teams
- In partnership with the creative and engineering teams, maintain design and copy standards and version control
- Manage multiple priorities in a deadline-sensitive environment to ensure that all work is completed according to department standards
- In partnership with team leads, implement, and suggest improvements to the process and tools in order to increase efficiencies
- Technical independent contributor that executes tests and web experiences using our content management system
- Facilitate engagement between experimentation and content production teams to implement and execute web tests
- Contribute to the increase in experimentation velocity through process improvements requirements feedback
- Work with team leads to plan defect mitigation
- Support the execution of quality control activities, such as the manual validation of content and a/b test setup, and running automation script
- Identify and problem-solve roadblocks to successful task completion, including liaising with the technical product development team.
- As needed, take on special projects to support other team members.
- Troubleshoot site problems and fix incorrect content data as needed.
- Ensure product information, content, and images are displayed correctly
- Be able to work occasional off hours as necessary to meet deadlines or as part of Product Releases.
