We have an exciting opportunity for a SEC/Financial Reporting Manager
To support the solid growth of our organization, we are seeking a talented and highly motivated SEC Reporting Manager to join our Controllership team.
This role will provide leadership and oversight in a unique opportunity to build the external financial reporting process and support building the company’s accounting and reporting procedures in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
The SEC Reporting Manager will lead the administration and preparation of accurate and timely quarterly and annual financial statements, MD&A and footnote disclosures, and other SEC reporting requirements as well as support various internal accounting and reporting processes.
The position reports to the Corporate Controller and will support the Controllership team through growth, transformation, and continuous improvement in executing responsibilities ensuring appropriate processes are in place and well documented.
In addition, this role will play a key role in coordinating with external auditors during quarterly review and annual audit procedures, engage in internal control initiatives and participate in various other corporate accounting functions and initiatives such as system implementations.
The ideal candidate will be an organized, process-driven professional with experience implementing scalable process and managing evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment of a high-growth company. Success in this role will depend on his/her ability to understand current operations and support the changes necessary to mature the overall reporting function as the company continues to grow.
Primary Responsibilities
Work may involve sitting for extended periods.
May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.
Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the accurate, complete and timely preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reporting documents and disclosures in Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K as well as the support proxy filings.
- Own the company’s financial reporting software (Workiva) used to prepare SEC filings, including access controls and ensuring standardized processes.
- Establish appropriate preparation and review procedures for XBRL detail tagging.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to develop and document the SEC reporting function, including implementing improvements to processes that will enable an efficient and effective SEC reporting close process.
- Support the accuracy of financial earnings releases on a quarterly basis.
- Participate in developing and maintaining compliance with SOX requirements, including 302 and 906 certifications, completion of GAAP and disclosure checklists, and other financial reporting control.
- Prepare/analyze monthly accounting records, including financial statements and supporting schedules to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance with accounting and reporting requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of technical accounting policy and position memos.
- Perform other duties as required.
- BBA or MPA in Accounting required.
- CPA required.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant financial statement reporting experience including at least 5 years of direct experience in managing the preparation of SEC filings for a public registrant.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and thorough understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements including XBRL taxonomy.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, internal control framework and risk standards as it relates to the financial reporting process.
- Exceptional analytical and organization skills with attention to detail and high sense of urgency.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on both short and long-term objectives.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Ability to identify and address problems and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with ERP/consolidation systems and master data (Acumatica and experience a plus).
- Advanced-level experience with Excel.
