Manager - Application Development

Inventory Locator Service (ILS), (a CAMP Company), is in search of a Manager, Application Development. We are looking for an individual who can develop integrated business and technologies for the ILS Marketplace while collaborating across multiple organizations and product portfolios with ease. Our ideal candidate will have experience leading and bringing the best out of a diverse team. You must demonstrate operational efficiency experience; innovation thinking and have a strong technical track record of delivery of information applications to support strategic direction. A process improvement mindset and track record of execution in all facets is very important in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and develop a global team of application developers and information designers across time zones, ensuring the efficient operation of the team, on-time project delivery and value realization of projects.

• Proven ability and confidence to effectively communicate written and verbal with team members, architects, senior level, and executive resources.

• Deep and proven experience in two or more areas such as: Web Technology Project Management, Data & Analytics Project Management, Quality Strategy/Automation and Microservices.

• Experienced and leads activities using Agile/SCRUM methodology.

• Experienced in the development and implementation strategies for Web Based Applications.

• Ability to manage and present metrics and KPIs to management in terms of quality, productivity, agility, and delivery as well as collaborate well with Product Managers and Technical Leaders to manage expectations of customers and stakeholders.

• Knowledge on the latest enterprise software technologies and methodologies and drive innovation and continuous improvement in teams.

• Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and work experience accepted.
  • Master’s Degree Preferred
• 3 – 5 years of prior experience in a management role with 10 years of technology experience required.
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience with the Microsoft Development Stack highly preferred!
