Your Role

As part of the Digital Experience and Customer Journeys Team, the Director, Web Content Management and Production will lead the team in charge bringing the content developed by our partners and making it available across our digital platforms to our clients. This role involves working with content producers and individuals from marketing to bring our digital experiences to life in a consistent and impactful way.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead a team of Web Producers, Technical Writers, Quality Assurance and Analytics Tagging Specialists responsible for publishing and tagging content in the CMS (articles, content pages, landing pages, etc) that aligns with business goals, timelines and web guidelines
  • Lead efforts to migrate content (thousands of fragments/pages) from current platforms to the new CMS
  • Ensure the quality of the copy following best practices for digital, content and brand standards
  • Actively monitor and adjust site tags as necessary to meet critical metrics and business needs
  • Partner with leadership to establish processes and procedures aligned with agile model
  • Ensure web functionality and performance across browsers and platforms
  • Monitor, assess and report on website performance in partnership with product leads
  • Partner to establish and managed guidelines for site structure, taxonomy, content hierarchy, titling, tagging and domains
  • Document and maintain a library of new modules, features and templates
  • Ensure all content and experiences drive measurable action and are optimized for SEO
  • Collaborate with leadership to manage priorities, timelines, editorial calendar
  • Identify areas of opportunity to optimize and enhance the content templates and authoring experience
  • Partner with product leads and UX/UI team to design and implement tests within Adobe platforms
  • Partner with the Product Managers, UI/UX Design and Technology to understand new capabilities and updates to templates
  • Aid team in resolving technical issues within CMS
  • Maintain appropriate compliance and technical control standards, working with these teams as required
  • Drive the digital analytic tag development process, supporting the digital analytics platform, determining priorities, expanding the tagging structure and managing impacts to the analyst reporting
  • Partner with eCommerce and Marketing teams to develop and implement site wide tagging strategies using analytical platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.

 

The experience you bring:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience working editorially with varied forms of digital content across digital platforms
  • Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands on CMS experience publishing content, in a known program such as AEM, Magnolia or Oracle
  • Experience providing strategic direction for tagging and tracking performance with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
  • Experience managing with Agile process.
  • Digital design skills, including a solid understanding of fonts, color palettes, photo image sizing
  • Experience managing creators of digital content and copy.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing basics, traffic and conversion drivers, search optimization, pricing elasticity and the consumer’s path to purchase journey.
  • Understanding of Tag Management software like Google Tag Manager, Tealium, etc.
  • Exposure to tools for Web/Mobile Analytics, A/B Testing, Tableau, SQL etc. will be a plus.
  • Proficient with HTML code, PC operating systems and mobile devices
  • Previously worked within the Adobe Experience Cloud platform, including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target
  • Google Tag Manager/Analytics certifications desirable but not required
  • Adobe Analytics experience desirable but not required
  • Prior experience working within Financial Services and /or Asset Management is a plus, but not required
  • Good organizational and time management skills and the ability to oversee projects from conception to delivery.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth quality assurance on both creative materials and technology functionality.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with editors, partners, and technical teams.
  • Interact promptly, productively and positively with fellow employees and all levels of management.
  • Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, with strong motivation and work ethic education and experience.
