You’re likely a good fit here if:
- You’re excited about the immense opportunity to leverage existing hands-on CGT experience to build impactful software products at scale: You’ve worked in a CGT lab and have first-hand knowledge of specific inefficiencies that a well-formed and modern software solution can address – and you’re excited about the opportunity to work with a team of proven healthcare software professionals to build a market-leading set of solutions.
- You prioritize purpose (and challenge and autonomy) in your career: You’re ready and willing to roll your sleeves up and work extremely hard - but need it to be for a great and worthwhile cause.
- You want ownership of product: You aren’t intimidated by defining both the detailed software requirements and maintaining the overall product roadmap. You get excited about the challenge of transforming a customer’s “wouldn’t it be nice if …” into a clear and executable set of user stories for talented Dev and QA teams.
- You’re ready to “roll up your sleeves”: You aren’t planning on being a paper pusher, project manager, or just an opinion orator. You’re ready to directly write detailed software specifications and user stories to execute.
- You are a natural leader and team player: You don’t need formal authority to successfully rally cross-functional teams around a well-communicated goal and plan. You don’t need the winning idea to be your idea – you need it to be the best idea. You raise teammates and colleagues up with both praise and effectively communicated feedback for improvement, while holding yourself accountable for team missteps.
- You can navigate ambiguity: You know CGT is a rapidly evolving field and landscape, and you enjoy thinking creatively and critically to assess options, help chart the proper course, identify root issues, forecast opportunities, and formulate clear action plans and solutions.
- You’re savvy to our space: You don’t need Google to know the definitions of LIS, EHR/EMR, HL7, FHIR, ICD10, UML, or JAD; that MoSCoW isn’t just the capital of Russia; that Scrum and MVP aren’t just sports references; and that LEAN isn’t a new diet fad. You cringe when you see references to “HIPPA”. And you can successfully administer the 5 Whys technique without being too annoying.
- You enjoy occasional travel: You know the importance of non-virtual face-to-face time and the value of Clear and TSA Pre. Whenever possible, you carry-on to hit the ground running.
Who:
InVita is looking for visionary and talented people to join our team. As a CGT SME & Product Manager, you will:
- Be expected to have requisite hands-on experience in a CGT environment to serve as a resident SME. Effectively collaborate directly with CGT clinical and lab users, teammates in the product team, software engineers, and QA analysts to design and launch best-in-class SaaS solutions.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment to simultaneously manage projects, plan product roadmaps, directly produce CCCCT (correct, comprehensive, concise, consistent, and testable) software specifications and end-user materials, launch new Systems, ensure Partner success with our products, and support unique growth initiatives.
- Support and drive revenue growth by collaborating and supporting the Marketing, Sales, and Client Services teams.
- Develop strategic plan for the company to maximize effectiveness of respective teams in driving initiatives and growth.
- Establish and build relationships with key strategic partners and key collaborators.
- Represent at industry conferences.
- Contribute to the enhancement of technical knowledge on CGT product lines, company literature, and competitive products.
- Communicate the evolving CGT market trends and competition to the organization.
- Communicate the voice of customer (VOC) and market intelligence back to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a life-science-related field such as: Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology.
- Minimum of 4 years' relevant work experience working in CGT in a laboratory, operational, or clinical role.
- Strong attention to detail, with emphasis on focus and organization.
- Entrepreneurial drive and ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-based, and agile-oriented environment.
- Excellent client-facing presence, interpersonal skills, written and spoken communication skills.
- Proficient with standard MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and web-based SDLC collaboration tools (e.g., Atlassian platform).
- Experience in cross-divisional environments and influencing without authority.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodation(s) may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
- While performing the duties of this position, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
- Additionally, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
