Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, part-time Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention Team in York/Adams County. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Have active state-level licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Hold a master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
- Have Child Abuse Clearance
- Have Criminal Background Check
- Have Fingerprinting
- Have experience working with young children is a plus but not required
- Support children and their caregivers with the development of fine motor skills such as reaching and grasping objects and work at improving self-help skills such as feeding, dressing and oral-motor development.
- Identify and modify sensory and environmental barriers that limit participation in everyday routines and model activities for the caregiver to support sensory, motor, and behavioral needs.
- Serve as member of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) team for infants and toddlers with occupational therapy concerns
- Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s IFSP plan
- Maintain appropriate records
- Perform other OT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
