involve.ai is the world’s first Customer Intelligence Platform (CIP) and was built by an experienced group of industry leaders. Our proprietary technology provides predictive, prescriptive, and personalized customer insights and recommended actions. Customer teams can subsequently take the right actions to prevent churn, increase expansion opportunities, and align the entire organization around delivering amazing, personalized customer outcomes.

This is a remote role located anywhere in the US; however, the majority of collaboration happens during West coast hours.

We’re looking for a software engineer to join our mission of empowering teams with customer intelligence so they can drive transformational growth. As a software engineer you’ll be expected to carry this mantra into your daily development by building, extending, and scaling products that help our customers prevent churn, grow revenue, and deliver amazing customer outcomes.

We are a high growth startup, so you need to be a self-starter who is comfortable with some level of ambiguity when it comes to requirements, and is able to quickly iterate on ideas. What You’ll Do:

• Design, build and maintain secure RESTful web services to power our customer intelligence platform 
• Work with product teams and end users in order to understand user interactions and build scalable solutions for improving customer's workflow and experiences
• Work as part of a cross functional team to take ideas from inception to production 
• Lead and mentor junior/mid level engineers, establish code standards
• Write scalable, testable, well-documented code

What You’ll Need:

• 3 years of software engineering experience
• Proficient knowledge of Python
• Proficient knowledge of building and consuming RESTful web services
• Proficient knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Proficient knowledge of SQL (Snowflake)
• Familiar with security-related best practices including OWASP
• Demonstrated experience of building a projects from a completely blank slate
• Demonstrated experience of learning and extending an existing code base
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines
• Curious about how things work, creative about how to approach problems, and eager to collaborate with others
