RESPONSIBILITIES:

Certain, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented Implementation Consultant who is passionate about helping event marketers and B2B DemandGen marketers maximize their business impact with Certain solutions. The consultant will strive to become an expert resource with customers, internal stakeholders, and partners to deliver projects in a profitable manner. The consultant will embrace change and continually strive to innovate Certain’s market position by translating Customer requirements to Certain solution opportunities and enhancements.

Key duties include:

• Design, implement and test solutions configured on Certain’s platform to the needs of the Customer
• Responsible for completion and accuracy of project deliverables
• Lead on-boarding workshop which include: discovery, requirements gathering, design, and joint builds
• Create requirements and design documents that facilitate customer expectations and decision making
• Contribute to sprint planning sessions by providing user stories documentation and effort estimates
• Implement the event configuration in the Certain platform
• Problem solve and offer ideas to solve Customer issues
• Conduct customized training to customers based of various skill levels: power users, event builders, demand marketers and event report user
• Deliver expert coaching sessions with customer stakeholders and document sessions topics
• Conduct customer instance audits against best practices and make actionable recommendations
• Proactively contribute back to the Playbook Delivery in forms of best practice assets: how-to guides, troubleshooting tips, implementation references, coaching session topics, and more
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of consulting operational functions including time entry, expense reporting, time allocation, status reporting
• Participate in the support of Customer’s events and projects
• Assist other customer-facing teams to answer and resolve customer inquiries where needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline
• Minimum 1-year experience in a consultative role, preferably within a software SaaS company
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally, in writing and presentation
• Hands-on user knoweldge of one or more Marketing Automation Systems (i.e., Marketo, Eloqua)
• Ability to create, edit, adjust, and troubleshoot HTML/CSS
• Knowledge of Javascript and Jquery is required
• Experience working with API's is recommended, but not required
• Highly analytical and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong sense of customer passion and win-as-one mindset.
