Scheduling Assistant
Reports To
Master Planner Manager/COO
YOUR PURPOSE
To ensure the day to day accuracy of the production schedule. Ensure that the schedule is ready to execute and that all requirements are met prior to the production start date. Work with all internal stakeholders to communicate requirements and changes within the schedule.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule changes within the first 2 weeks of production to ensure updates from internal stakeholders are reflected in the schedule.
- Attend morning and afternoon production meetings to ensure schedule is accurate.
- Assess the first 2-weeks of the schedule and make the adjustments necessary to ensure all departments time to prepare for production.
- Ensure Ready to Execute (RTE) inputs are completed by internal stakeholders and publish 1 week Freeze Schedule
- Measure the schedule attainment and adherence of the Freeze Schedule based on execution of the batches.
- BOM verification prior to batch cuts.
- Cut batches when new sales orders are placed.
- Scheduled batches after cut based on the customer request date and material lead time.
- Re-cut/refresh/re-size batches for raw materials or components.
- Updates to SO tracker based on schedule changes
Communication to internal stake holders for schedule changes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Experience in manufacturing scheduling is a plus but not required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge and experience of equipment and processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-driven and accountable.
- Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.
- Keep good communication and teamwork with related departments.
- Able to perform under pressure

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
