Job Description
The Mobile B2B Product Manager – Business Services will be responsible for developing and executing the enterprise mobility product management strategy for Samsung mobile business services, such as extended warranties, technical support, and professional services. The strategy will focus on services product requirements, services launch, the voice of the customer, and technical/sales enablement for the channel from an enterprise perspective. Responsibility will also include coordination with the demand generation, vertical business development, and sales channel teams for all service product planning and launches.
Specifically, the Mobile B2B Product Manager – Business Services will focus on the following tasks:
Development of Samsung's mobile business services go-to-market strategy, including product offering, pricing, and routes to market for the U.S. in the enterprise segments and channels
Development of programs and promotions that drive channel sales sell in and sell out
Development of competitive comparisons for utilization across the organization
Contributes to flawless launch execution for all mobile business services products
Coordination of the U.S. strategy, messaging, and support with SEA product leaders, SEA service delivery leaders, and Samsung H.Q.
Develop Samsung thought leadership in the services product management arena
Gather, analyze, and understand the voice of the customer relative to mobile business services requirements and strategy
Additional Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
The Mobile B2B Product Manager – Business Services will provide the overall services strategic direction for all assigned mobility products. This position will also provide insight to other SEA/HQ/R&D business leaders and contribute to SEA/HQ/R&D's overall business strategy development and implementation concerning services requirements. This leader will develop and manage the associated mobile services marketing support team, be responsible for the programs to support new service introductions and business development, and manage service product management interaction with the marketing organization as a whole for the assigned category. This role will also manage and develop sales tools for the larger sales organization and serve as the primary services expert within the organization.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of directly related experience is required
Prior experience developing and managing services product and support strategies, such as extended warranties, technical support, and professional services, required
Prior experience in product marketing and with managing product launches required
Prior experience in a telecommunications environment required, with specific focus on mobile (smartphones and tablets) services and support
Ability to identify service and support risks and associated solutions within mobile product technologies
Must be able to read, write, analyze, interpret, present, and explain technical product materials
Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and extensive use of Microsoft presentation software
Must have demonstrated project and program management skills
