Job Description
North Wind Resource Consulting, LLC, a CIRI Company, is seeking a full-time project manager with expertise in preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance documents as well as experience in communications and public involvement. The selected candidate will provide project management, technical writing, communications, and public involvement support primarily on contracts with federal and state government agencies. This position is located in our corporate office in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Approximately half the expected time of this position will be devoted to preparing NEPA documents including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Environmental Assessments (EA) for various federal and state agencies. Projects could be located anywhere and may require some limited travel to attend kickoff meetings, public meetings, etc., but the majority of the work will be office-based technical writing. The other half of the expected time will be devoted to communications and public involvement duties for federal and state agencies and will include activities such as providing graphic design, technical writing & editing, social media and website support, special event planning and logistics, regulatory public involvement support including developing and maintaining administrative records, developing public information materials, and providing public meeting support. Project management including duties such as client interface, monthly reporting, and project tracking are also expected.
