$19 per hour, eligible for 90 day review
Full-time plus benefits
Mon-Fri 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (rotating 1/2 day Saturdays about once per month)
We are looking for the RIGHT PERSON to add to our team. We pride ourselves on being a true advocate for applicants and work with them to find them a position they will LOVE!! How fun would it be to set the tone for the new employee experience, from the recruitment process to hiring, and later the orientation process!!!
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource for new employees during the recruitment and hiring process
- Ensure a positive and smooth new hire experience is achieved
- Follow up on all necessary paperwork and details required for a successful recruiting and hiring process
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Constantly on the phone (headset) talking with applicants and managers
- Possess solid organizational and computer skills; proficient in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Familiarize oneself with the company handbook and ensure employees know the importance of the employee handbook
- Provide excellent examples of customer service with professional drivers and travelers at all times
- Screen and recruit candidates for top talent that are applying at various Iowa 80 Group locations throughout the United States
- Navigate accurate hiring stages and required pre-employment tests with candidates
- Dresses according to company policy
Requirements
- Proven attention to detail and ability to organize data and work to meet deadlines.
- Excellent and professional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and retain information, processes, and policies
- Advanced MS Office, Applicant Tracking System, and Outlook skills with continuous improvement
- Enjoys structured daily workflow tasks/processes
- Presents self and information in an honest, ethical, and professional behavior
- Genuine interest in people and find helping them to be rewarding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working "behind the scenes" not customer-facing
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- 1 years of recruiting experience preferred but not required for the right person
