OBJECTIVE:
Amplify Association Management (Amplify) is an accredited association management company (AMC) that specializes in full-service management for non-profit professional and trade associations. We become a strategic partner to our clients to elevate the impact of their mission, members and industry.
An Account Executive provides leadership, counsel, and direction to their client associations as directed by the client contract and defined in the Scope of Services. Specifically, the Account Executive is responsible for and has commensurate authority to accomplish the duties listed below.
This position reports to the Amplify CEO.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assures that the Board, Executive Committee, and appropriate committee chairs are kept fully informed on the conditions and operations of the association, and on all important factors influencing the organization.
- Participates in all meetings of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, maintaining minutes of the meetings and other official meetings of the association in the permanent files and provides security and appropriate confidentiality for all files.
- Assists the Board in the development and execution of the strategic plan.
- Provides the necessary staff support to committee chairs and committees to enable them to effectively perform their function.
- Develops policies, procedures, and programs to support the Board.
- Signs and executes contracts and commitments as authorized by the Board or established policies.
- In cooperation with the financial manager, treasurer and/or finance committee, recommends, monitors, and operates within an annual budget. Works with the financial manager to ensure timely and effective financial reporting.
- Provides business management of the associations publications, ballots, surveys, websites, and social media.
- Directs staff team to implement education and certification programs in conjunction with the associations committees.
- Plans, organizes, and directs membership promotion and retention programs, evaluates results to align with membership goals.
- Responsible for the planning, promotion, and administration of all official business meetings of the association.
- Serves as the team leader, coordinating and working with the Amplify team and others who support the association(s), such as lobbyists and third-party vendors.
- Understands the resources available and identifies additional need for resources to implement the association s goals and program of work and the services for which the association has contracted.
- Serves as the primary liaison between the association and Amplify and reports on significant developments within the client association to the Amplify President and CEO.

TRAVEL
Travel required, determined by association clients served. Travel is outside the local area and/or out-of-state. Multiple consecutive days of travel and overnight stays required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has supervisory responsibility of the staff teams assigned to the association clients (administration, meetings/events, membership, communication, technology, financial management).
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor s degree or certification in related field.
- Three to five years experience in organization or non-profit management.
PREFFERED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Certified Association Executive (CAE) preferred.
