Position Title
Adjunct Drone Pilot Instructor
Job Description
This position is responsible for teaching drone classes face-to-face. Must evaluate and report student performances and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures. Duties include but are not limited to: teaching classroom lecture courses, curriculum development/restructuring, and helping in student success.

Required Qualifications
- 6000 hours of drone flying work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in aviation and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested drone flying experience.
- FAA Drone Pilot part 107 Certification.
- Ability to pass a background check, have a U.S. Driver’s License and good driving record.
Physical Demands
Requires prolonged standing or sitting. Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May require heavy lifting depending on assignment and lab. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone, and other basic office equipment, and ability to work with diverse populations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and use a phone. Some travel, by vehicle, may be required. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, reasoning/analysis, and ability to work with minimal supervision, high degree of problem-solving, organizational skills with the teaching and learning process, and high level of inter-personal skills is preferred.
