Head Coach Esports
Job Description
The Head Coach will coordinate all phases of a competitive NJCAA Esports program. Including, but not limited to coaching, recruiting, budget management, travel management, rules and eligibility compliance, administrative duties, departmental fundraising, competition management, academic advising, marketing, promotions and public relations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to work with diverse populations.
- Ability to pass a background check, a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must be able to lift and operate sports and field related equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience coaching/playing in the sport, college level preferred.
- Experience recruiting college athletes preferred.
Physical Demands
Include occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, and other basic office equipment, and work is performed in a office environment, gymnasiums and indoor and outdoor athletic facilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and use a phone, and some travel by vehicle may be required.
