JOB SUMMARY
The position of Wine Club Manager incudes all duties related to the Wine Club and management of wine club staff. This position also supports planning and implementation for growth and continued retention of the Wine Club.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPOBSILITIES:
- Assure growth in the Wine Club membership by both increasing new members and minimizing cancellations with a basis grounded in excellent customer service and communication with members
- Maximizing Wine Club sales each quarter by supporting additional purchasing options for members
- Providing tools and training for all hospitality staff to successfully sell Wine Clubs and retain members
- Providing structure for the Wine Club program to ensure accuracy, efficiency and the highest level of customer service
- Developing club content for sign ups, newsletters, e-blasts, gifts and other promotional materials.
- Look for opportunities to expand and implement improvements effectively and timely.
- Utilize opportunities to grow Wine Club through additional channels, including offsite pourings and eCommerce
- Wine Club billing including new customer set-up in system
- Generating and sending invoices including checking credit card information/expiration
- Calling of customers with invalid/inactive credit cards each cycle to get updates
- Support customer service/swaps for Wine Club Members
- Processing quarterly Wine Club shipments
- Wine Club inventory to ensure all orders are processed from accurate locations
- Process Wine Club clean-up including pick-up reminders, shipping reminders, etc.
- File completed paperwork into designated areas for ease in access for past transaction reference
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional customer service skills and positive attitude
- Ability to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills including excellent telephone communication, sales and customer service
- Ability to build relationships that foster brand loyalty
- Ability to multi-task and be a team player, communicating with management if any issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects with minimal supervision
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Strong computer skills are required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite a plus
- 3-5years winery and/or administrative experience required
- Must be 21 years of age
