Position Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Constantly achieves desired results in all areas of responsibility through staff development and training programs, established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high quality service.

  • Constantly creates and ensures a fun-filled and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
  • Constantly demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic demeanor to guests, both internal and external at all times.
  • Constantly ensure staff adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Frequently ensures hotel rates and inventory is managed to maximize occupancy, room revenue, and gaming revenue per room.
  • Constantly ensures the quality and integrity of departmental operations.
  • Constantly facilitates the flow of information within the department, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled team meetings.
  • Constantly handles guest complaints for the entire property following up with that department
  • Constantly listens to guest/team member needs and ensure all issues are handled in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Constantly maintain a good working relationship with the entire casino and hotel staff.
  • Constantly maintains knowledge of Hotel, Community and Special Events to provide guests with superior service.
  • Constantly monitors call volume for PBX and ensure abandonment rate is kept at 3% or lower.
  • Constantly monitors desk volumes for lines and ensures guests are processed in a timely manner and staff adjusted accordingly.
  • Constantly monitors rates, inventory and demand and adjust accordingly to maximize rates and occupancy and ensure the casino has rooms available for their players.
  • Constantly responsible for all team members for day to day and long term operations to include hiring, training and developing employees which includes coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management up to and including separation.
  • Constantly responsible for ensuring optimal operations and consistent high quality standards in areas of responsibility during all business hours.
  • Constantly responsible for overall department budgets, profit and loss statements, cost analysis, labor analysis, and planning.
  • Constantly responsible for scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Constantly reviews and evaluates job performance of team members, communicating unsatisfactory conditions, and working with team members to achieve expected performance.
  • Constantly train and empower all staff to service guest’s problems/complaints and ensure they are resolved in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Frequently establishes profit objectives for the department and works with finance team to incorporate them into annual budget.
  • Frequently submits the annual capital requests and ensures capital is purchased as needed.
  • Occasionally creates, develops and implements an effective strategy of organization within the department.
  • Occasionally performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Constantly hearing, sitting, speaking, listening, reading, writing, typing, analyzing and using reasoning skills.
  • Constantly see and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth and peripheral vision.
  • Constantly using wrist motion, hand dexterity and, eye-hand coordination.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when stocking, storing and maneuvering around work area.
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift and mobility to move easily around entire property.
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.

Salary : $45,900 - $58,200
