Auditor

Position Description:

Must be able to review and accurately post revenues and expenses pertaining to audits for BSR. Read and understand written regulations and procedures; ensure adherence to Mississippi Gaming Regulations.

Job Functions

• Reconcile audit journals, verify manual documents to computer-generated results and record as applicable.
• Input data into DMR/General Ledger system.
• Reconcile accounts pertaining to daily audits.
• Verify all procedures from the Gaming Control Board are being followed with exceptions written for all instances of non-compliance.
• Receive and route telephone calls.
• Calculate, post and verify incoming or historical data to obtain financial information.
• Compose information into retrievable and/or specific form.
• Verify and post revenue areas.
• Recognize incomplete data and determine action to be taken.
• Compile and sort documents.
• Collect information from other areas of the property.
• Must be able to function as a team member and work well with others.
• Perform all functions with the highest level of integrity.
• Perform other responsibilities as directed by management.
• Observe and follow all safety procedures.
• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Position Requirements:
Job Specifications

• High School diploma, required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
• Detail-oriented.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.65 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Auditing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
