Quality Assurance Analyst

Position: QA Analyst

Summary:

IP Pathways is searching for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our exceptionally talented and growing team! The QA Analyst is responsible for testing and documenting for our application development team. The ideal candidate will use a test plan to verify that all requirements are being met within an application and have the desire to learn QA Automation to assist in upcoming projects leveraging Python, Pytest, and Playwright. This role is a salaried, full-time position and will be offered a convenient and flexible work schedule as well as an excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and document test plans and test specifications.
• Solid expertise in crafting and using test automation frameworks for UI, APIs and data layers.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts and other delivery team members to ensure quality of the new Change and overall platform solution
• Provide testing estimates and meet project testing timelines
• Collaborate with other members of the development team in troubleshooting the root cause of software issues.

Skills:

• Clear and accurate written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must be able to work well with others, both in-person and in a remote environment.
• The candidate must be able to communicate technically with the team, but also communicate clearly with the business in non-technical language.
• Excellent self-management and time management is essential. The position requires managing multiple competing priorities in a timely manner, to stay on schedule.
• Must be a team-oriented problem solver who takes ownership of work performed.
• High desire to understand how things work with a demonstrated ability to learn things quickly

Nice to have:

• Previous experience with Jira
• Desire to learn QA automation
• Previous experience with Python, Pytest, and Playwright
