Position: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary:

IP Pathways is searching for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our exceptionally talented and growing team! The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the testing and documenting for our application development team. Our ideal candidate will have previous automation experience to assist in upcoming projects & previous experience or the desire to learn Python in order to leverage Pytest, and Playwright for automation testing. This role is a salaried, full-time position and will be offered a convenient and flexible work schedule as well as an excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and document test plans and test specifications.
• Solid expertise in crafting and using test automation frameworks for UI, APIs and data layers.
• Work closely with developers, product managers and other delivery team members to ensure quality of the new changes and overall platform solutions.
• Provide testing estimates and meet project testing timelines.
• Collaborate with other members of the development team in troubleshooting the root cause of software issues.

Skills:

• Clear and accurate written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must be able to work well with others, both in-person and in a remote environment.
• Have the ability to communicate technically with the team, but also communicate clearly with the business in non-technical language.
• Self-management and time management is essential. The position requires managing multiple competing priorities in a timely manner, to stay on schedule.
• Must be a team-oriented problem solver who takes ownership of work performed.
• High desire to understand how things work with a demonstrated ability to learn things quickly.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience with Jira
• Previous experience with Python, Pytest, or Playwright
