Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.
Minimum qualifications:
- Familiar with PME utilized in machined part inspection, Analyzing Information, Reporting Research Results, Documentation Skills, Promoting Process Improvement, Safety Management, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Supports Innovation
- Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
- Have good arithmetic skills
- Have mechanical aptitude
- Must have knowledge of precision measurement instruments
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Ability to work in a team environment
Experience/Education:
- 2 years’ experience in aerospace manufacturing/machine shop required
- ISO 9001-2008 and AS-9100 experience preferred
- CMM experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working conditions:
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility
- Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
