The Quality Improvement Specialist will serve as part of a multidisciplinary team working to improve the quality of health care for Medicaid beneficiaries enrolled in managed care plans. They will conduct virtual and onsite reviews of primary care practices; review activities associated with best practices in health care delivery, equity, and patient engagement; advise on quality improvement strategies in both the organization of clinical quality and office efficiency; and write reports. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with practical experience in patient care within primary care practices, quality improvement and assessment of quality improvement initiatives, as well as writing for diverse audiences. This is a client-facing role and successful candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Ideally the candidate would be based in IPRO’s Ohio or New York (Lake Success) office. Up to 50 days of travel per year expected. Potential opportunity for hybrid & remote work available (U.S. only)
