What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst, Tech position at IQVIA?
Responsibilities:
- Project Management and/or Business Analysis, Project Budget Management, Project Task Management (using Jira and Confluence), Project Deliverable Management, Program / Project Template Setups and Ad Hoc Solutions Configuration (using Smartsheet), QA System Testing, Data Analysis;
- Assist project team members and clients with tracking Project Tasks and Deliverables;
- Support Project Managers with preparation and delivery of Project Status Reports to clients, scheduling meetings with internal and external participants, capture and provide meeting notes and keep track of open Action Items;
- Support Business Analysts with collecting, writing, reviewing, and/or updating Technical and Business Requirements documentation;
- Support QA Testing project team members with the preparation or review of test scripts, and reconciling them against requirements. May also include hands-on test executions, either by navigating through systems using different user roles, or preparing / executing SQL statements. Helps to investigate and resolve Testing Observations, which may require data analysis or following up with data source owners.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, Required
Experience:
- Entry-level position with 0-3 years since achieving an undergraduate degree from a recognized educational institution.
Skills and Abilities:
- Works willingly and effectively with others within / across / outside the organization to accomplish team, project, and client goals;
- Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline;
- Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques, related to one's functional area;
- Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors;
- Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace;
- Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people and companies;
- Effective time management skills.
