Role & Responsibilities

As an Associate Director on the Strategic Planning Team within IQVIA Commercial Technologies, you will work closely with Executive leadership and staff to manage strategic transformation projects. The role holder will design, develop, and deliver large transformation projects with material impact to business operations. The role holders’ responsibilities include:

Strategic Projects:

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to parse our relevant information at various levels of the organization
  • Executing high quality research and analysis
  • Planning, organizing, and managing tasks to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives
  • Developing internal relationships through facilitation of in-person/virtual discussions or workshops
  • Identifying opportunities for organizational improvement and work with global operations, finance, and Human resources to triage a change registrar
  • Support the development of intellectual property for use on future engagements
  • Manage large scale EBITDA transformation projects including; real estate, offering transformation, and operational effectiveness programs

Operational/Executive Reviews:

  • Designing, structuring and delivering executive reports and presentations
  • Developing broader and deeper knowledge of organizational methodologies and pharmaceutical market through on the job experience and training
  • Contribute and lead the development of materials for executive business reviews on an ongoing basis

About You


Candidates interested in joining our Strategic Planning, Commercial Technologies team as a Manager should have:

  • Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn and grow
  • 2-5 years professional experience with evidence of career progression
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, leading meetings, workshop facilitation, business and report writing
  • Strong capability in managing large and/or multiple projects and juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while producing high-quality outcomes
  • Experience working in sizable/ multi-disciplined teams and leading staff without direct authority
  • Experience in developing credible relationships with senior level managers and executives in various parts of the business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
  • Ability to understand financial forecasts and other financial tools that contribute to business forecasting and financial success
  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries

In addition to the skills and experience above a Manager should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • A track record of leadership and people development
