Job Overview
The Change Management professional will play a key role in ensuring the function meet their impact objectives across a global, diversified organization. This role is primarily responsible for creating and implementing a change management strategy and related plans that maximizes the cultural shift, employee adoption, usage of new tools and processes on a global scale. The change management specialist will work directly with the Chief Talent & Learning officer and the leadership team leaders on their implementation plans, with responsibility for helping to develop a realistic and achievable timeline based on impact analysis, identifying relevant cross-functional stakeholders, and integrating change management activities into the project plan. The change management specialist acts as a coach for the project team, senior leaders and people managers in their change roles as they lead teams through transitions. This role works through others in the organization and will need to create successful partnerships to succeed.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities: Works independently to develop comprehensive change strategy and related plans to support the adoption and utilization of T&L, EVP products and processes.
  • Assess change impact: Identify key stakeholders, conduct impact analyses and assess change readiness.
  • Lead change management efforts: Lead development of and is accountable for the execution of change management tasks and workstreams. Manage delivery of change team, delegating work, ensuring quality standards, and balancing workloads.
  • Manage delivery: Establish key change milestones and delivery timelines, partner with project managers and product owners. Ensure the change task or workstream remains on track by conducting routine assessments to validate progress and outcomes.
  • Lead communication efforts: Lead development and execution of communications plan for internal corporate-wide and/or department-specific employee communications related to IT initiatives. Create and design all communications deliverables including but not limited to strategic presentations, executive memos, leader messages, manager tool kits and Frequently Asked Questions). Identify appropriate channels and tailor messages to segmented audiences. Develop creative methods for stakeholder communications. Partner with corporate and internal communications teams.
  • Support training efforts: Conduct needs analysis to flex change efforts for the biggest impact and adoption.
  • Address resistance: Plan and work with change roles to identify and mitigate user resistance. Develop change champions network strategy and implementation.
  • Establish change metrics: Create and monitor user adoption metrics to report the effectiveness of the change management delivery.
  • Prepare key change roles: Coach and advise senior leaders, people managers and project leaders to perform their roles in change.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Change Management Certification or relevant experience
  • 5 years of organizational change management experience working with a structured change management methodology, communications, change communications, employee engagement
  • Demonstrated progression and growth within the change management function
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
  • Proven ability to produce high quality deliverables and own the change management delivery and outcomes
  • Identify and plan to manage resistance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills applied at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead multiple change management workstreams and be accountable for performance and results
  • Familiarity with project management approaches and integrating change management milestones and deliverables into project plans
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, audience segmentation, definition of messages and channel selection
  • Consult with, coach and advise senior leaders, people managers and project teams
  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Evaluate user readiness and plan transfer of ownership to the business
  • Define and measure success metrics, and monitor change progress
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong listening and diagnostic skills
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Project, Stream, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to collaborate and provide support across teams and functions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within a global and matrixed environment with responsibility for creating and executing an enterprise-wide change management strategy and related change plans
  • Experience delivering change management for large-scale business transformations and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and training software is a plus.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for project managers, product owners, and senior leaders to engage them in change
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Experience mentoring team members in change management
  • Strong attention to detail
