What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Analyst position at IQVIA?
Responsibilities
- Meeting attendance both internal and external as requested to provide feedback, knowledge and consulting.
- Become subject matter expert with proprietary system for managing client business rule changes, perform UAT for system releases and suggest enhancements to system functionality.
- Define, create and execute appropriate test plans to confirm business rule implementation.
- Document test progress and results.
- Drive innovation and streamline the overall testing processes.
- Adhere to established work instructions and standard operating procedures related to assigned tasks.
Required Skills
- Possess either a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant curriculum along with 2 years of hands on experience or 5 years of hands on experience.
- Possess fine-tuned analytical skills and be very detail oriented.
- Knowledge of medical/prescription insurance and pharmacy claims processing.
- Knowledge of copay programs is a huge plus.
- Experience in test case creation and test case execution of application/database systems strongly preferred.
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server for writing queries and generating test data.
- Proven ability to ensure quality compliance and adherence to a schedule.
- Ability to multitask across several ongoing projects.
- Team player with strong verbal/written communication skills and organizational skills.
