The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $84,000.00 - $140,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.

As a Strategic Pricing Manager, you will be constructing innovative pricing analytics and models to boost deal transformations and streamlining the pricing process. You will be clearly communicating deal profitability and risks to decision-makers. Additionally, you will be responsible for the upkeep of customer pricing models and rate cards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing charge out rates and providing analysis that supports each recommendation.
- Acting as Team Lead on assigned projects and managing the pricing process on large initiatives.
- Providing support and assistance on pricing calculations and use of rates in the pricing models.
- Providing support in performing customer portfolio profitability.
- Assisting in defining and developing corporate pricing strategies, pricing analysis, and processes.
- Managing huge data sets and manipulating into single analysis.
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or other directly related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Contracts, Proposals, Business Management, IT, or user maintenance of databases.
- Knowledge of the CRO Industry a plus.
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Ability to program and QC complex Excel solutions and design and implement large structural changes in Excel-based systems. Experience with Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
- Knowledge of costing models and ability to analyze simple resourcing algorithms.
- Knowledge of how pricing systems integrate with other systems.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, PowerBi, and PeopleSoft a plus.
- Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and having a sense of urgency.
