Job Description:
Iron EagleX is looking for a Systems Administrator to join us supporting one of our current government customers at Hurlburt Field, FL. The successful candidate will be part of a team that manages the SOF Training Support Center (STSC) that provides connectivity to SOF simulation and training sites via the SOF Training Exercise Network (STEN) for the efficient exchange of modeling and simulation data supporting live-virtual-constructive (LVC) distributive training, exercises, and operational systems. The STEN delivers simulated tactical training locally and remotely to the SOF exercise training community.

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a server administration to include: DNS, AD, WSUS, KMS, and Group Policy administration
- Demonstrated proficiency in installing and maintaining Windows Server Operating Systems
- Experience with remote administration of Windows 10 operating system
- Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable in accordance with DoD 8570.01
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain user workstation hardware and peripherals, virtual machines and servers, and local area network connections
- Familiarization with hardware/software compatibility requirements
- Experience with application DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
- Familiar with NESSUS/ACAS scanner or equivalent and vulnerability remediation actions
- Must meet the Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II requirements by having one of the following certifications: GSEC, CompTIA Security CE, SCNP, or SSCP at a minimum upon hire
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs for various operating systems
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Operates and performs administrative tasks on virtual network, servers, and workstations using VMware product suite
- Assists system testing and certification for CLASS and UNCLASS environments
- Maintains standard operation procedures for disaster prep and recovery operations
- Interacts with internal and external customers; validates system requirements; provides on-site and remote support
- Troubleshoots and resolves system and peripheral malfunctions
- Serves as alternate Cybersecurity Liaison with host-base for SIPR, NIPR, VOSIP, and VOIP requirements
- Assists with system updates, upgrades, and remediation efforts
- Administrator for multi-domain enterprise Active Directory and DNS environment
- Provides advice and training to end-users as required
- Participates in special projects as required
- Familiar with Windows 10 OS, and Microsoft Server OS
- Maintains currently and applicable skillset for assigned tasks
Desired Skills:
- Tactical communications experience
- VMware experience is highly desired
- Motivated self-starter: ability to work alone or on team tasks and shift from one task to another
- Strong time management skills and multi-tasking ability
- Excellent research and problem-solving skills
