What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Associate position at IRONMARK?
Ironmark has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, inquisitive and detail-oriented marketing associate to assist our company’s multichannel marketing strategies and tactics. This role will report to and work hand-in-hand with the Ironmark marketing director.
From supporting the implementation of marketing campaigns to project managing content, sales enablement initiatives, trade shows and more, the marketing associate plays an integral role in all things Ironmark marketing. This deeply cross-functional role leverages opportunities to learn from sales, customer service, and production to elevate marketing campaigns that yield positive results for our family of companies.
This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days in our office located in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Core Responsibilities
- Project Management: Serve as the link between our marketing, service, sales, and production teams to ensure our campaigns are executed on-time and on-budget across initiatives such as account-based marketing (ABM), content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), email, social media, events, print and other channels to drive leads and sales pipeline.
- Sales Enablement: Maintain an up-to-date inventory and library of sales collateral and marketing materials. Coordinate sales presentations, branded merchandise, corporate gifts, conferences/trade shows, events, and signage for Ironmark’s three locations. Work with sales teams on RFP preparation and in-person visits.
- CRM / Database Management: Working daily in HubSpot, monitor lead generation on a daily basis and work with sales leadership to identify MQL, SQL,opportunity and close rates and optimization in HubSpot. Partner with the sales team members to ensure delivery of quality leads and proper follow-up and CRM compliance. Train sales team members on CRM use and integration and lead lifecycle management.
- Content Marketing: Work with all internal departments to generate a continuous supply for topics for content pieces, including blogs, case studies, social media posts, and internal communications. Provide editing support for blogs, white papers, social media posts and marketing materials to fuel our content marketing and sales enablement activities. Support the tactical implementation of quarterly webinars. Make frequent text and photo edits to Ironmark’s website.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze marketing metrics for all campaigns providing weekly scorecard results, and quarterly retrospective reporting across all channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- 2 years of in-house or agency marketing experience
- Strong project management skills, including managing internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Familiarity with HubSpot
- Must be located within commuting-distance to Ironmark. This is a hybrid role and requires 2 days a week in our office near Columbia MD

What Sets You Apart
- Experience launching, managing and optimizing marketing programs alongside B2B sales teams
- Exposure or expertise in one or more marketing systems, including WordPress, HubSpot, Rollworks, ZoomInfo, Google Analytics, and other tools across the technology stack
- An eye for design and ability to create marketing collateral and graphics
