Pay Rate: Starting at $100,000 / Yr.!
Lab Supervisor Opportunity:
- Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
- On-call some weekends (rotated)
- The point of care testing supervisor will direct the daily operations of the program to achieve goals for provision of quality patient care
- Manage and oversee daily work including hire, train, evaluate, discipline and assess competency for supervisors
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies: CAP, JC and NYSDOH
- Implement new tests, methods, instrumentation and procedures at various testing locations
- Manage Point of Care Testing Program budget and oversee use of supplies and resources
Develop and implement training programs for each test. Document and track personnel training and certification
- Develop and maintain quality control tools Analysis of body fluids/tissues from human subjects to confirm or rule out clinical diagnosis
Lab Supervisor Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Medical Technology training required
- NY Laboratory technologist license
- Point of Care Testing instruments required
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems required
