Job Description As a Seasonal Driver Helper, you’ll learn the essential functions of the Home Heat Delivery Driver role while assisting the Irving Oil Driver in delivering product to residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate would be interested in obtaining a CDL license and motivated to work towards that goal. A typical day consists of: Working with an Irving Oil Delivery Driver in the delivery of product to residential and commercial customers Perform all work in accordance with Irving safety procedures Represents the company professionally and respectfully in all interactions with customers Attend and participate in company training programs Assist with pre- and post trip inspections. Prepare the truck and fuel hose for dispensing of product or equipment. Deliver paperwork to customers door. Assist with daily shift report and all required paperwork Other duties as require Requirements: Proven safety record and a strong safety focus required High school diploma or G.E.D. required Basic mathematical skills are necessary Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions Ability to work all shifts including weekends. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb steps, stairs Ability to multi-task operational duties. Ability to recognize hazards and prioritize.
