Job Description:
- Responsible for assisting the Plant Controller in performing a variety of accounting functions related to financial analysis, cost accounting functions, month end financial closing and financial reporting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for backing up the Financial Associate; resolve AP/AR issues
- Processes Supplier charge backs.
- Processes retro-billing as deemed necessary.
- Reconciles billing to Just-In-Time-Delivery System.
- Processes tasks associated with Accounts Receivables including reconciliation’s and applying cash deposits.
- Updates daily production sheets.
- Responsible for fixed assets in the facility.
- Create process journal entries / account reconciliations
- Performs yearly update of standard costs.
- Performs Material, Price and Mix analysis.
- Performs Purchase Price Variance analysis.
- Performs SOX and Internal Controls testing.
- Performs detail Sales and COGS analysis to support yearly Profit Plans and quarterly forecasts.
- Participates in BOM audits and updates standard cost on any new parts.
- Participates in annual Physical Inventory and performs Physical Inventory reconciliations.
- Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Plant Controller.
- Performs work within our quality system.

Experience Required:
- Two (2) years in manufacturing accounting areas described above.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Candidate has the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Candidate has the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability:
- Candidate has the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Must be computer literate and familiar with appropriate software programs. Candidate has the ability to create visual aids for communication purposes.
