Overview:
ISF, Inc., welcomes applicants for our Quality Assurance Tester role.
The QA Tester is responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications with responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Involvement in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
- Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
- Collecting and analyzing data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrating them into business processes to address the business needs.
- Documenting all problems and assisting in their resolution.
- Delivering quality process training to technical staff and acting as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
- Performing quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
- Working on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments.
- Working on multiple programs/systems as a project team member.
- Considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system.
- May coach more junior technical staff.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of systems development, testing and/or business experience.
Exp. working for large consulting companies.
Salesforce Certified Administrator is a plus.
Years and experience with Regression Testing
Years and experience with Performance Testing
Years and experience with Atlassian-Jira
Experience in all stages of testing – Smoke Testing, Regression testing, Functional testing, System testing, Interface testing, Usability testing, Integration testing, UI, and Compatibility (Cross-Browser) testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Diligent and meticulous
- High regard for safety standards and quality control
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience.
