What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events + Marketing Coordinator position at ISG Inc.?
Description
ISG’s in-house events and marketing coordinator reports to the events manager and supports internal and external events and communication efforts. The purpose of the position is to support the marketing team and greater organization in event detail coordination and execution for a variety of different industry events including tradeshows, conferences, ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and open houses, community engagement events, training sessions, meetings, workshops, and annual celebrations.
Position Overview
Event Planning
- Coordinate tradeshow logistics such as booth registration, show services and asset tracking for all internal and external events.
- Register and organize golf outings and other industry networking events.
- Lead firm party planning efforts for grand openings, chamber happy hours, annual parties, team retreats, and milestone celebrations.
- Support client and community engagement efforts.
Administrative Support
- Maintain event tracking and task management for event details via project management software, Asana
- Assist with apparel and product selection, order management, administrative functions, and promotional campaigns for the firm store.
- Assist with the design and selection of event kits, booths, and SWAG items, and maintain inventory.
- Create easy-to-understand summary documents that support strategic marketing planning efforts.
- Register ISG team members for various events and communicate directly with business unit and practice group leads to gather necessary information.
- Research events, sponsorships, and related opportunities to increase firm awareness.
- Maintain team membership renewals and support the execution of organization involvement.
- Assist with contract acquisition and invoicing with vendors for internal department retreat meetings.

Qualifications/Requirements
- BA/BS in event management, marketing, or related field
- Ability to travel to local offices or event sites as needed
- Ability to assist with set-up, hosting, and management of internal and external vendors
- Highly organized and detail-oriented individual that can juggle multiple projects at once
- Strategic, responsive, and proactive approach to projects
- Fast learner and a self-starter
- Team player that thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
