ISI Professional services is seeking an experienced scheduler skilled in the engineering or construction field, to support several federal initiatives with a current customer. The Position requires the successful candidate to develop and maintain project and portfolio schedules using Primavera P6. The Project Scheduler will be working with a collective group of talented schedulers that will support various project stakeholders to include project managers, risk management specialists, cost engineers, and other staff members.  The ability to effectively collaborate and work well in a team environment is vital to succeeding in this role, as is having strong customer-facing skills for collaborating with stakeholders and conducting schedule reviews.

The Scheduler will be supporting Government Project Managers on all aspects of schedule management in support of program planning and execution, to include identifying schedule risk and schedule reporting. Possesses experience in leading and performing schedule activities throughout the program life cycle with focus on program planning, program execution, management controls, analyses, and reporting that contribute to product development, achievement of program milestones, and advising and informing leadership.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Ensures that schedules are resource-loaded, contain standard logic - predecessors / successor relationships, depict a critical path, align with the program / project work breakdown structure (WBS), and indicate status of each task.
  • Developing and analyzing schedules utilizing Primavera P6 (version P6.18.8).
  • Apply acquisition and program management principles to support program planning throughout the program life cycle.
  • Support the development of project plans that are both synchronized and integrated across the portfolio.
  • Lead/participate in IMS reviews of risks and issues in coordination with Contractor, Functional, and PMO Government teams.
  • Determine the impact of proposed changes to project schedules, project operations, resources, and modifications.
  • Review all outputs of draft/final schedules for completeness and technical accuracy, ensuring scope of project is adequately captured and compliance with scheduling best practices is met.
  • Creating, analyzing, and producing various reports using programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point, and Tableau.
  • Ability to export, filter, and manipulate large data files.
  • Updating, monitoring and maintaining new and existing projects in the IMS program from inception to completion.
  • Develop and present corrective action plans and mitigation strategies based on schedule risk assessment, project health, and critical path analysis.
  • Create schedule graphics for multiple briefings that helped to portray the tasks, events, and their associated dependencies in a more comprehensible format.
  • Integrate and coordinate schedule activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience using Oracle’s Primavera P6.
  • Experience creating planning roles as well as resource loading schedules.
  • Creating and maintaining the projects Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Experience utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Experience creating and maintaining uniform project and activity codes.
  • Experience supporting construction of large medical facilities.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.

Preferred Certifications & Experience:

  • AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred, but not required.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, but not required.
  • Experience utilizing Oracle Primavera P6 Team Member.
  • Experience utilizing Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM.
