Applicant will handle ingredient and supply purchasing for a small food processing company. Additionally, utilizing QuickBooks to maintain the financial record keeping, filing of employment records, creation of invoices for product sold, printing twice monthly paychecks, ready for owner's signatures, paying bills, and accounting for payments received.
**Responsibilities:**
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- Manage financial reporting and analysis
- Utilize software such as Quicken, QuickBooks, and other accounting tools
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Coordinate office operations and procedures
- Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement
- Organize office operations and procedures
**Experience:**
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in 10 key typing
- Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with financial report writing
- Competence in Quicken, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
- Understanding of GAAP principles
