About the Role
The finance department is seeking a Finance Associate - Billing to assist with the invoicing process. The position will be a part of the Finance – Billing team. Candidates will work with and provide support to internal and external customers. To excel at this role, you will need analytical skills, critical communication skills, and the ability to analyze and bring forth suggestions to improve processes. About the Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role
- Assist in billing all transactional and subscriptional billing
- Manually price transactional service invoices based on pricebooks
- Update system pricing for all transactional customers.
- Create subscriptional invoices based on contract wording
- Send client invoices in accordance with the contract / instructions from clients
- Upload invoices to customer portals
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Resolve any questions about product / billing rates from different teams.
- Assist in any additional projects that might arise.
- Research and initiate diligence around system improvements
About You and How You Can Excel in This Role
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance
- 1-3 years related work experience
Working knowledge of contracts and pricing agreements
Strong MS Office (Outlook, Teams) and Excel skills (formulas, pivots tables, Vlookups, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with drive for results
Strong communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Excellent customer service skills and willingness to be a team player
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously, while prioritizing tasks and delivering timely solutions to both internal and external clients
