This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Plant Maintenance function. This position will report to the Manager of Plant Engineering. Benefits & Perks: Team recognition rewards, sponsored lunches and monetary incentives based on performance Comprehensive Benefit package, Medical, Dental and Vision starting on Day 1 for you AND your family 401(k) plan with company match Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 7am-3:30 pm Referral bonus plan – get a job with us and get paid to refer your friend The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) work Perform Corrective Maintenance (CM) work Work on electrical items as well as process instrumentation Responsibilities include ensuring the plant electrical systems work safely and effectively by PM work and CM work, including troubleshooting, as needed Little to no travel will be required. The I&E Technician will be on call for approximately one week out of every 5 weeks. Other than being on-call, this is a Monday-Friday, day shift position only In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: Be a certified/ licensed Electrician and/or qualified electrical worker 3-10 years experience preferred The position will require a combination of both indoor and outdoor work year-round. Some work at heights (on a ladder or working in a lift) will also be required Must be able to lift 50 lbs. The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: Experience with process instrumentation Some background in power distribution Experience operating an aerial lift and/or forklift In more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
