Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT procurement processes, including software, hardware, maintenance, and services.
- Oversee daily procurement tasks, such as contract negotiation, administration, invoice resolution, and supplier relations management.
- Contribute to Procurement goals by executing Master Agreements and commercial strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Contracting Standards & Procedures and drive continuous improvement in contracting processes.
- Manage assigned categories efficiently, focusing on stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation.
- Maintain contract files according to document retention policies and support audit activities.
- Lead formal RFx processes through Ariba and iCertis, including pre-bid meetings, bid evaluations, and award approvals.
- Resolve contract disputes and collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance with client requirements and legal statutes.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 8 years of experience in Procurement and/or Information Technology.
- Proficiency in purchase orders, sourcing, negotiations, and contracting.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SAP, Ariba, and other procurement technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple Procurement initiatives concurrently across sourcing, contracting, materials management, and Procure-To-Pay (P2P).
Desirable Skills:
- Procurement experience in the energy industry.
- Capability to work effectively with various functions and stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a strong ability to negotiate and influence critical decisions.
