Functional Responsibilities:

      ISYS Technologies is hiring a System Administrator

Clearance:

• Secret

Job Duties:

• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators
• Set up administrator and service accounts
• Maintain system documentation
• Tune system performance
• Install system wide software and allocate mass storage space
• Interact with users and evaluates vendor products
• Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software
• Coordinate installation and provides backup recovery
• Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources 

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with minimum 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree
• Experience operating and loading COMSEC equipment as well as COMSEC policies and procedures
• Familiarity with network architecture including routers, switches, firewalls, and routing protocols
• Knowledge and experience with satellite communications technology architecture; Experience troubleshooting SATCOM and IP network problems
• Experience with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR), fiberscopes, multi-meter, BER test sets, and other RF/electronics test equipment
• GPS Experience
• 8570 (Security ) Certified
• Unix & Solaris 10/11 experienced

Desired Experience:

• CISSP, ISSEP, ISSMP certifications

The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
