Site Manager - USCIS Service Center Operations Support Services
Location:California Service Center: 24000 Avila Road, Laguna Niguel, CA92677
The Site Manager will have direct responsibility for the successful accomplishment of the contract at the California Service Center
Responsibilities include:
Ensures contractual performance requirements are met daily
Communicates operational impacts to USCIS and helps determine methods to mitigate or avoid them
Works collaboratively with USCIS staff as a liaison to interpret changes in immigration law or regulations that necessitate an operational change
Coordinates action to resolve issues and put steps in place to fulfill the requirements of the new guidance
Oversees the implementation of procedural changes and the updating of our standard operational procedures ensuring USCIS provided guidance is incorporated effectively
Leads the shifting of operational resources as needed depending on daily workload volumes and service center project priorities
Minimum Requirements:
At a minimum, the Site Manager shall have three (3) years of overall project management/operations management experience obtained within the past five (5) years, including management of a project and/or contract more than $5M; or supervision of fifty (50) employees or more supporting a project and/or contract is required.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a large workforce administrative staff program (50 employees) and experience supervising large-scale logistics, warehouse, clerical or administrative programs.
The Site Manager should have demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines and coordinating the planning and implementation of project activities.
The Site Manager should have successfully demonstrated experience in addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction, developing, and implementing operations procedures and policies, analyzing training needs and requirements, demonstrating good decision-making skills, demonstrating detail-oriented abilities, and successfully responding to high-pressure situations.
The Site Manager should have demonstrated time management skills to plan, manage, and coordinate the agility of multiple staff members over a sustained period of time.
Clearance:
The Site Manager shall have the ability to obtain a DHS Suitability and DoD Secret Clearance; active DoD Secret or Top-Secret, preferred
Education:
The Site Manager shall have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: program management, business or public administration, technical management, information systems, engineering, finance, accounting, or related fields. A PMP certification can be substituted in lieu of the education requirement.
