Team Overview And Job Responsibilities HQ Indirect tax Specialist will directly report to HQ Indirect tax Manager. Indirect Tax specialist is supporting the Indirect Tax Manager in the analysis of cross border transaction from Indirect Tax perspective. The activity focuses mainly on EU rules analysis and the monitoring of local countries implementation. The Candidate will support the HQ Indirect tax Manager also in the following activities: Define Group VAT guidelines & procedures and internal process improvements; Review and perform audit checks on local VAT requirements; Identify VAT risk & opportunities; coordinating special projects; Work closely with external parties such as company tax advisors and business partners. Who we are looking for? The Candidate Should Have: Strong knowledge of VAT law, mainly focused on cross-border transactions (intra-EU and extra-EU); Maximum 3 years’ experience as in-house VAT specialist or in VAT Consultancy (big four or tax firms); Good oral and written communication skills in English Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) Practical knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or comparable large ERP systems) – nice to have The candidate should have undoubted ability in identifying critical issues and proposing solution to the business partners and/or the HQ Indirect tax Manager. Business Skills Should Cover: Organizational sensitiveness; Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail; Networking capabilities; Project management capabilities; Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative; Exceptional Communication skills.
